What causes the dark eye circles?
Are you tired of having "panda eyes"? Often this makes you look old or looks tired when you have too prominent dark eye circles, aka periorbital dark circles caused by tiredness or working too hard or even just staying up late. In science, it is known as periorbital hyperpigmentation. While this can be true, the truth is that your genes play a huge role here.
In actual periorbital dark circles are a result of the thin layer of skin below your eyes showing the blood vessels and the blood they contain more clearly than anywhere else on your body。As we age, our skin loses its elasticity and ability to regenerate and as a result it becomes thinner. This is why elderly people will have rather prominent periorbital dark circles regardless of how much they sleep.
To reduce the prominence, we have to focus on 3 factors: 1)Do not increase your cortisol level (stress hormone) which indirectly increases volume of blood flow and naturally causes the engorgement of blood vessels below our eyes. 2) Prevent losing elasticity of the skin at the preorbital area. 3)Reduced melanin disposition around the preorbital area.
SUN eye contour cream retains moisture and prevents eye wrinkles. Multiple plant extracts can accelerate blood circulation around the eyes, eliminate eye puffiness and reduce the appearance of dark circles. Tremella and Glycine both help to soothes wrinkles giving a "tightening" effect and improves the collagen level in the skin layer. Citrus Junos peel oil reduces the pore size and helps to reduce dark spots (melanin)
